CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD)-Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) alliance manifesto released on Tuesday outlined “path-breaking initiatives for sustained, inclusive and futuristic progress and development” by promising one lakh government jobs and 10 lakh jobs in private sector – with 75% job reservation for Punjabi youth in government and private sector – and providing 400 units free power to every household per month.
The document also mentioned Rs 2,000 per month to women heads of BPL card families, minimum support price (MSP) on fruits, vegetables and milk, Rs 10 lakh health insurance for all as well as a Rs 10 lakh student education card with interest free loan for studying anywhere in the world.
