A teacher referred to pupils as "idiot" and "little s**t" before she was sacked.
Barbara Phillips taught at Chaigeley School in Warrington - a school for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs - but was dismissed in October 2019, following an investigation. Allegations regarding her conduct were the subject of a recent professional conduct panel hearing, carried out by the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA).
A report released this month said she had "engaged in inappropriate and/or unprofessional behaviour", reports CheshireLive. It found that, in March 2019, Mrs Phillips said "I'm not staying in with him here" in a "loud and dramatic fashion", in reference to a pupil who had an "episode of violence" earlier that day, which led to them damaging school property
