British Sabrina Carpenter fans have taken to social media to criticise the American singer over ticket prices for her 2025 European tour.
Pre-sale opened on Tuesday for the Espresso singer’s European leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour next March, which features London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester dates.
Soon after announcing the pre-sale, tens of thousands rushed to the online queue, however they were not only facing competition to nab a coveted ticket - but eye-watering prices.
Many took to X, formerly Twitter, to share screenshots of the inflated prices with some tickets totaling almost £240 - and claiming she’s not yet “that big of a draw” to justify the extortionate prices.
One fan penned: “£240 for Sabrina Carpenter nosebleeds is insane lol. She’s great but she’s had two hit singles. I paid about half that for Taylor Swift nosebleeds and felt it was still a bit too much but at least that’s a three hour show with 18 years of smash hits to cover.”
“£200+ for seats for Sabrina tickets is actually insane like there’s just no excuse concert tickets should never be this expensive,” another commented.
A third added: “£240 to sit in the nosebleeds to see Sabrina Carpenter at the O2 – an artist with two hit singles and two other moderate hits. Absolutely APPALLING.”
“Sorry but why are sabrina carpenter tickets costing £230 for nosebleeds, it’s a crime; Those Sabrina Carpenter tickets are ridiculously price for someone who’s got about 5 songs. Nose bleeds more expensive than Beyoncé’s golden circle tickets. Make it make sense,” another fumed.
Carpenter isn’t the only artist to face backlash for rising ticket prices.
In May, Billie Eilish came under fire for the cost of her UK shows after it was revealed that standing tickets for her next arena gigs were being offered for more than £100 apiece.
Next year, the 22-year-old will embark on a series of performances in the UK and Ireland, which will include five nights at London's O2 Arena, two nights in Glasgow, four nights in Manchester, and two nights in Dublin.

But, when tickets went on sale, a lot of fans were shocked by the cost, calling the amount "ridiculous" in the face of a cost-of-living crisis.
One fan, who believed the ticket prices were too high, tweeted: “I love Billie Eilish to pieces but the ticket prices for the tour are just ridiculous. I don't expect any artist to charge minimum, but at least make the tickets accessible to people. It's creating a barrier to the music industry for so many fans.”
Another user echoed: “Billie Eilish ticket prices are so disappointing.”
A third remarked: “Just seen the Billie Eilish ticket prices. Wow. The sooner the public stop paying these prices, the better. If it keeps going, 3 years from now, you’ll be paying 200 quid for a simple standing ticket to every arena show.”
