The Karnataka government has selected the former Chief Minister S.M. Krishna, Infosys founder N.R. Narayana Murthy, and former Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone for the Kempe Gowda International Award, instituted in honour of Kempe Gowda, founder of Bengaluru.
