S Club's Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh almost had an awkward encounter with former member Hannah Spearritt when they attended the European premiere of Cirque du Soleil's Alegría: In A New Light.
While Lee, 41, and McIntosh, 42, enjoyed a catch up at the bar during the interval, Spearritt, 42, was noticeably nowhere to be seen.
Relations between her and the chart-topping band are said to have soured when it was announced that she would not be joining them for the reunion tour last year following the death of member Paul Cattermole, whom she previously dated.
He was found dead at his home in Dorset on April 6, aged 46.
An insider later claimed that the decision had not been hers however and that she felt "pushed out".
The source further claimed to The Sun that the rest of S Club had been told "not to contact her".
More animosity between the Reach hitmakers has been hinted at, now Spearritt is taking part in ITV's Dancing On Ice.
Another member, Rachel Stevens previously appeared on the show and is now dating DOI professional skater Brendyn Hatfield. Should she go down to support her other half, then it's likely that she and Spearritt will cross paths.
"Falling on the ice is going to feel warm and painless compared to the cold front that will envelop Dancing On Ice if their paths cross. The best hope is that Hannah and Rachel are kept apart. But given the series lasts for two months and they could both be in the studio at the same time, that’s not going to be easy," a source previously told The Sun.
The event at London's Royal Albert Hall marked the start of 40th anniversary celebrations for the acclaimed circus arts shows and the dress code was "regal".
Spearritt opted for a blue floor-length embellished gown, which she accessorised with golden heels.
Lee meanwhile sported a dazzling black jacket and McIntosh wore a crisp white shirt and black trousers.
Alegría – In A New Light, is a revival of the original of the 1994 production incorporating 64 acrobats, clowns, musicians, and singers and will run at the Royal Albert Hall until March 3.
Other celebrities at the star-studded event included Alan Carr, Carrie Fletcher, Denise Van Outen, Ella Eyre, Jo Wood, Joanna Page, Kerry Godliman, Sir Lenny Henry, Theo Walcott, Zoe Wanamaker, Jeremy Vine.
Kiss radio presenter Tyler West and EastEnders girlfriend Molly Rainford enjoyed a date night together, while Dr Ranj Singh and Ranvir Singh were seen having an animated catch-up.
