Rachel Stevens has firmly denied cheating claims made by her ex-fiancé and has labelled them "absolute lies".
The S Club 7 star was engaged to former Hollyoaks star Jeremy Edwards from 2002 until 2003, who has suggested that she had a separate romance during their relationship - but Rachel said this "absolutely did not happen".
Edwards began speculating over their time together, after Rachel was partnered with Brendyn Hatfield to compete together on Dancing on Ice. They first met in 2021 on the show and are reported to be dating, following Stevens' split from husband Alex Bourne last year.
While it is understood that they became friends while working together, there is no evidence to suggest they were romantically involved prior to her and Bourne's split, reports the Mirror.
The development has prompted Jeremy to question his own relationship with Stevens and after reflecting on their history, he believes she had a "fling". He also admitted he would have been uncomfortable if she had gone on Dancing On Ice during their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: "Since this story came up, it’s brought all this up again. And I've thought about it more, I've thought about our relationship, and I think she did have a fling. I would never in a million years have thought she would do something like this.
"But because of the story that has come out, it just makes me question our relationship."
However, Rachel's rep told the Mirror: "This is a completely false story, the below interview is absolute lies, and this did absolutely not happen."
Jeremy and Rachel were engaged for a year before splitting, with reports saying the breakup was because of his drinking. Rachel announced her split from her husband Alex Bourne last year after 12 years of marriage.
The former couple are understood to be co-parenting their daughters Amelie, 12, and Minnie, eight, following their separation. It's now been claimed that Rachel and Brendyn - who is also reportedly separated from his wife - are now dating, with the pair said to be "smitten".
A source told The Sun : "Rachel had a really great friendship and partnership with Brendyn and it keeps developing. They're really smitten and looking forward to the future."
They added that the S Club member hadn't been expecting to find love again at this point in her life but she's "feeling positive" about the future and "hopeful about a new start".
