Rylan 'lands new reality show' weeks after quitting Strictly and radio show break

Rylan Clark is believed to have landed a new reality TV show just weeks after he stepped down from Strictly It Takes Two.

The much loved presenter, 34, is set to ditch the ballroom for island life as he has reportedly signed up for a new programme.

Filming for the unnamed show is said to be taking place in Greece and will follow a group of young Brits.

The contestants will try to run a bar on the party island Zante, whilst also living together.

“This show could not be more perfect for Rylan. It’s fun, sexy and got a cast who are all up for a laugh. As well as working together to set up the bar, the group all live together.

He recently stepped down from Strictly (BBC)

“So while this isn’t a dating show, it would be unrealistic to expect these youngsters not to indulge in a little fun in the sun," a TV source told The Sun.

Rylan has been keeping his followers up to date with his travels as he shared pics from a sunny getaway.

Taking to his Instagram, he posted a pics of him on a yacht in clear blue waters.

He also shared updates on his Stories, of him enjoying a beachside meal and a firework display.

The former X Factor star recently announced he is having a hiatus from his BBC Radio 2 show and has also been tipped to take over the role vacated by Phillip Schofield on This Morning.

Announcing his break from radio, he said: "This is where I should say ladies I won't be catching up with you next week.

Rylan is said to be filming in Zante (@rylan/Instagram)

"Because I am off to do some other bits and bobs so I'm not going to be here for a fair few weeks."

He has become one of the bookies' favourites to replace veteran broadcaster Phillip after he stepped away as host of the popular ITV daytime show.

However Rylan raised eyebrows when he took to social media after Phil's announcement he was stepping down from ITV.

He posted a joyful selfie where he held up a peace sign and smiled for the camera.

The snap came just hours after Phillip released a statement saying he would be quitting all of his ITV roles and admitting that he had an affair with a younger man while working at This Morning.

Rylan has hosted This Morning before so many are hoping he will return alongside Holly Willoughby.
