Rylan Clark has been flooded with messages from fans as he told them he is 'near to cracking' as he reveals his professional dilemma. The BBC Radio 2 host was heaped with praise after he was pranked by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly on their hit show, Saturday Night Takeaway.
Rylan had viewers in stitches as he had no idea he was being pranked by the Geordie duo as part of their ITV programme's popular Undercover segment. The 35-year-old, who is fronting the BBC's coverage of Eurovision this year, thought he was spending the day filming some content for the song contest which is being held in Liverpool in May.
However, he had actually been brought to a studio to unknowingly be part of a huge stunt that had been arranged with Ant and Dec and their Saturday Night Takeaway team with the help of BBC Eurovision and EBU.

Before the Eurovision-inspired prank began, Ant and Dec were seen sat in their stake-out spot, ready to cause havoc for an unsuspecting Rylan. As things were about to begin, Ant told viewers how much Rylan loves the singing competition, before adding: "This is going to be awful."
Viewers then watched Rylan as he got to work in front of a green screen, being forced to dance around, say things in foreign languages, where they meant something completely different to what he thought he was actually saying, and was also joined by a man entirely covered in a green suit as he was asked to ride on his back like a motorbike.
Then, Ant and Dec dressed up as Armenia’s contestants for Eurovision as an oblivious Rylan announced the candidates. Rylan smiled and nodded along enthusiastically as he watched their performance, only for his face to change to an expression of sheer panic as he saw one of the band's costumes burst into flames. He then had to think on his feet and tell viewers that there had been an accident, until he turned around and saw Ant and Dec.
Rylan was flooded with messaged from fans saying how the genuine Rylan had shone through. And the following day Rylan wrote on Twitter: "Cheers for your messages. Remember tele people…. Be nice to people at work, we ain’t anything special and you never know who’s listening in to a mic."
He has since returned to his social media page to share how he hides his more controversial opinions as he tows the line between being personable and true to himself and being professional. The Strictly - It Takes Two host said: "Lately I’ve been writing tweets I WANT to send but professionally think I shouldn’t. I then save them to my drafts and let them sit there so I feel like I’ve sent it but I haven’t.!
Rylan then added: "That’s my slight release for the day," alongside a crying laughing emoji. And as fans started to respond, he quickly shared a follow-up tweet which read: "I’m near to cracking fyi…."
Many of his followers shared his 'coping mechanism' while other encouraged him to let loose and share his thoughts with the world. @RatcliffeAshley said: "Just send them! Let them go! Let them out! They need to be out." @8trackrum replied: "SEND THEM, LET THEM ‘AV IT!!" @thatkat commented: "Release the tweets." @bazcol added: "Send 'em - be true to yourself!"
