Rylan Clark had just one word for Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly after another teaser of their prank on the TV and radio star was shared on social media. Rylan will feature on the upcoming episode of the duo's hit ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway after he was tricked by the pair.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter is currently gearing up to host the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool alongside Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Claire Sweeney. And his upcoming gig gave Ant and Dec the perfect opportunity to pounce on the Eurovision fan for their latest Undercover.
"For our last Undercover of the series we’re going BIG! @Rylan #SaturdayNightTakeaway," a tweet from the official Saturday Night Takeaway account read which also included a clip of the prank.
Before the Eurovision-inspired prank began, Ant and Dec were seen sat in their stake-out spot, ready to cause havoc for an unsuspecting Rylan. As things were about to begin, Ant told viewers how much Rylan loves the singing competition, before adding: "This is going to be awful."
The clip then showed several clips of the prank, including one of Rylan in front of a green screen dancing around before Ant and Dec dressed up as Armenia’s contestants for Eurovision as an oblivious Rylan announced the candidates.
And things, as can be expected, didn't go to plan and Rylan could be heard saying "Oh my god!" while a producer tried to remind him that the 'show' was live.
Despite it having been filmed way in advance, it appears Rylan isn't over the mortifying day at work as in response to the Tweet, the 34-year-old simply replied: ""'B***ards", prompting much amusement from fans.
@SLHMcIntyre1 said: "Really can't wait for this, know it'll be a laugh a minute! Sorry, not sorry @Rylan." @SparksF1 commented: "Catching you out with a Eurovision trap is brilliant. Cant wait to see it." @kayleighs53 added: "Can't wait for this one. Bloody love Rylan, always providing the entertainment."
