A woman nearly missed a holiday to celebrate her wedding anniversary after Ryanair refused her entry on a flight due to an issue with her passport.
Caroline Smith was due to fly out to Ibiza with her husband Dan on April 28 to mark their 10th wedding anniversary along with his 40th birthday. The couple had already checked in online for their departure at London Stansted and experienced no issues at this point.
However, issues started occurring when Caroline went to board the flight. NottinghamshireLive reports that Caroline was told by Ryanair staff that she would not be able to board the flight because of her passport.
