Ryanair has relaunched direct flights between Newcastle and Barcelona for winter 2022/23.
It is one of six new routes from the airport as part of the low-cost airline's largest ever winter schedule from the North East. The twice-weekly service is also the first direct option between the two cities since Vueling's ceased operating the same route in October 2021.
Historically a popular travel destination from our region, flights to the Spanish city have also previously been operated by easyJet. As well as offering art, architecture, beaches and delicious food; it is also the gateway to nearby destinations such as Sitges and Salou.
