Flights at a major UK airport have been delayed or cancelled on Sunday after reports a Ryanair plane became 'stuck' on the runway after a tyre blew. Passengers were escorted off off the plane from Faro in Portugal which had landed at the Yorkshire airport.
Emergency services have also been pictured at the scene and they remain on the runway. "Looks like the plane is going to be there for a while", one eyewitness said, LeedsLive reports.
Several flights have been delayed, including the 12.15pm Ryanair flight to Faro, the 1.25pm Jet2 flight to Paris and the 1.30pm flybe plane to Belfast City.
