Ryanair is offering a selection of winter beach break flights from Newcastle Airport to the Canary Islands for the same price as a month of ad-free Netflix streaming. For those who love spontaneously booking a getaway, and love it even more when it’s cheap, then this deal will be right up your street.
The budget airline’s Newcastle special sees one-way flights to Fuerteventura available for just £12.99. Return flights are also available for similar budget prices, though we didn’t see any for £12.99.
The deal is running until February 28 and all flights taken with the deal must be taken before March 31. Half-term dates are available, though they are significantly more expensive in the range of £120.

Deals are also available on flights to Gran Canaria (from £14.99 one-way), Lanzarote (£14.99 one-way) and Tenerife (£21.99 one-way). The Chronicle found these prices in all of their searching on the website, though the cheapest dates were for dates towards the end of January.
The lowest prices for the flights were also the lowest tier possible. These are Ryanair’s flights that only allow passengers to carry a small personal item that must fit under the seat in front of them instead of a cabin suitcase.
Flights with extra cabin baggage or up to 20kg of checked baggage will increase the price of this offer a lot more. So be wary before booking.
Ryanair flies from Newcastle to the Canary Islands regularly, with flights for each of the islands leaving twice a week. Three of the island destinations have a flight that leaves on a Saturday or a Sunday, with Lanzarote catering for Monday and Friday departures.
