Ryanair leaves Scottish schoolboy in tears after barring him from holiday flight

An 11-year-old boy was left crying after Ryanair refused to let him board a flight to Tenerife despite his passport still being valid for another four months.

Ryley Mcguckin cried and apologised to his seven-year-old younger brother Barry after staff at Prestwick Airport claimed his passport had expired and no longer complied with the new Brexit travel rules.

According to the Daily Record, Ryley’s passport had been issued in March, 2017 and was set to expire in September of this year.
