A Ryanair flight travelling to the UK from Spain had a 'near-miss' with a private jet.
The quick-thinking pilot of the Boeing 737-800 was forced to make an immediate right hand turn after the smaller aircraft crossed onto its flight path.
According to airspace rule, the minimum separation between planes should be 1,000ft vertically and three to five miles vertically - however, the private jet was just 100ft away from the Ryanair plane.
