Travel rules are constantly being updated, which can make it hard for passengers to know what is allowed to be packed in hold luggage.
Some restrictions have now been relaxed, the Government has confirmed new rules are coming into effect for cabin bags which means that airport passengers won’t be limited to carrying a maximum of 100ml of liquid and won’t have to remove large electronics from hand luggage.
The deadline for this rollout is January 2024, but there are also lots of rules around what each airline allows in the hold and getting it wrong can be a costly affair.
