Ryanair CEO gives stark warning over jet fuel shortages amid Middle East conflict

  • O’Leary clarified that while no significant disruption is expected before May, a continued conflict could put 10-25 per cent of Ryanair's supplies at risk in May and June.
  • Ireland’s Transport Minister, Darragh O’Brien, confirmed the issue was discussed by EU energy ministers, with the European Commission set to unveil an energy measures package, including aviation, next week.
