Ryan Yates' comeback was a "big boost" for Nottingham Forest, but head coach Steve Cooper says the midfielder still isn't quite 100 percent fit.
Yates made his return in last Sunday's 2-2 draw against Everton, coming off the bench to set up Brennan Johnson's second goal as the hosts twice came from behind to clinch a point. It was his first appearance since being forced off against Bournemouth in January.
Cooper has said the background to the Nigel Doughty Academy graduate's absence is "his story to tell". But he says Yates has made a big difference since linking up with his teammates again.

"It's a big boost. We missed him, in games and in training. We missed his positive influence and just who Ryan Yates is,” said the Welshman.
"He's still not 100 percent, so we have to be, not careful with him, but sensible with him. But he's back in the mix and he’s training, and vying to commit as much as he can. The stronger he gets, the better it will be for the team - that will be a good thing.
"It was nice to see him come on and get a great reception from the supporters. That will have meant a lot to him. It was good to see him back playing.
“He normally does have a positive impact on games in one way, shape or form. But like everybody else, we need everybody to be at it and committed.”
