RTÉ have announced that Ryan Tubridy will step down from presenting the long-running Late Late Show at the end of this season.
Tubridy took over hosting duties from Pat Kenny in 2009 and grew the popularity of the show which is known for it's audience giveaways, particularly with his transformation of the Late Late Toy Show into an international event.
While a successor will be announced later this summer, Miriam O’Callaghan has become the bookies favourite to take on hosting duties and become the show's first female host in it's 61 year history.
