Ryan Tubridy hints at Love Island guests as Late Late Show due to return

Ryan Tubridy has teased some of the first guests he will have on RTE The Late Late Show when it returns next week, hinting that they will be somehow related to Love Island.

Speaking to listeners on RTE Radio 1 this morning, the presenter was speaking about the recent news that Love Island host Laura Whitmore will not be returning to the hit ITV show.

"Will I have Love Island related news regarding the first Late Late Show back next week?", he teased listeners. He the joked: "I shouldn't have done that. But anyway, sometimes it just comes out."

Ryan has been enjoying a relaxing few weeks away, having also put a pause on his radio presenting role during the summer months as he announced plans to go "off the grid".

The Late Late Show celebrated its 60th anniversary special in May before finishing up for the summer. Ryan was joined by a huge amount of guests to mark the occasion including Jessie Buckley, Dermot Kennedy and Mario Rosenstock.

Applications to be in The Late Late Show studio audience in 2022 and 2023 are now open with the form available to fill out on RTE.ie. The date for The Late Late Toy Show 2022 was recently revealed and will take place on Friday, November 25.

Tubs announced that applications for the show are now open and youngsters can apply on RTE's website. The RTE presenter stirred up excitement among listeners, saying this year's show will be "very special".
