Former Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan shared his desire to see veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill demand his release from Tennessee in order to join the Browns.
While appearing on the Up & Adams show on Monday, the three-time Pro Bowl lineman expressed that his former teammate should ask for his release rather than ride out the season as Will Levis's backup.
“I think if Tannehill asked for a release, the Titans would respect that and release him,” said Lewan. “The best thing for Tannehill to get back out there and make some more money would be to be released and have an opportunity to go to the Browns.”

Lewan believes that joining the Browns would be the “best spot” for Tannehill after the AFC contender lost veteran signal-caller Deshaun Watson to a season-ending shoulder injury.
"They would be the best spot for him," added Lewan. "They have got tools, they have a good run game, they run a similar offense. So, I think that would be a great fit for him."
Adding Tannehill would make perfect sense for a 7–3 Cleveland squad fighting for their first AFC North crown since 1989, as the 2019 NFL Comeback Player of the Year would be an immediate upgrade over rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson or newly signed Joe Flacco.
