After an offseason of frustration and neglect at the wide receiver position, the Tennessee Titans addressed one of their biggest remaining needs with the signing of DeAndre Hopkins.
According to multiple reports, the deal, which is for two years and worth up to $32 million with incentives (full breakdown here), is expected to be finalized over the coming days.
Despite the fact that he hasn’t signed on the dotted line, both the Titans and Hopkins have basically confirmed an agreement is in place.
And, the veteran wideout dropped a “Titan up” in a social media post on Sunday night that also called out the “haters and doubters”, of which there were many once news broke he had chosen the Titans.
As the day went on, Titans players expressed their excitement for the signing, a group that included Jeffery Simmons, who tried to recruit Hopkins early on, Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry.
Here’s a look at their reactions and more from other Titans.
