Ryan Seacrest to host ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ for 18th consecutive year

NEW YORK — Ryan Seacrest will be in Times Square once again to rock in the New Year.

For the 18th consecutive year, the longtime “American Idol” host will help America wave goodbye to the old and say hello to the new as the ringleader of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

The five-hour-plus broadcast’s lineup, announced Thursday by ABC, will also include YouTube star Liza Koshy returning as a co-host.

Country music chanteuse Jessie James Decker is back again for the fourth year to crown the very first Powerball winner of 2023.

Emmy, Grammy and two-time Tony Award winner Billy Porter will commandeer the Central Standard Time zone countdown from New Orleans.

Harlem-born DJ extraordinaire D-Nice will not only spin on the wheels of steel this year, but he will serve as the LA co-host.

Grammy winner Ciara has been added to the mix this year, hosting the annual bash from Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The “Level Up” singer’s live appearance from “the happiest place on earth” will also serve as the kick-off to Disney’s 100 Years of Wonderful celebration.

Details of additional performers and other special guests are forthcoming.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” will air Dec. 31, live beginning at 8 pm ET on ABC.
