Ryan Seacrest moved fans to tears with his emotional speech and kind gesture as he bid farewell to Live with Kelly and Ryan after six years.
The presenter, 48, shared a touching message to the show's staff as he welcomed them to a dinner thrown prior to his final show today.
Addressing the large group of workers at the meal, Ryan gushed "there really is no other place in the business like the Live show".
Together with his notes, he admitted he will miss "the red herrings" and "sharing the bathroom".
Aside from his jokes, he gushed over the "magical experience that he will remember forever" and explained how much he will miss special editions such as the Halloween and Christmas shows.
Fans of the show quickly explained their own emotions in the comments section to the Instagram post, with many labelling Ryan a "class act" for his speech and professionalism, while others praised his "classy" dinner.
Another revealed how they "laughed and cried" before confessing: "I will miss you each morning," while another seemingly agreed, simply writing: " #tears "
He confirmed his departure in February before announcing co-host Kelly Ripa's husband of 27 years Mark Consuelos as his successor while on the red carpet at the Oscars.
The presenter called his exit ultimately "bittersweet," explaining how he and Kelly had a "great relationship and friendship and working relationship."
He added: "Mark is going to take over, and he and I have the same kind of relationship and it's going to be an exciting last few weeks. I'm not done yet!"
As the American Idol host handed over the reins he was bleary eyed due to Mark's kind words.
In a gushing comment about Ryan, the Riverdale star said: "I couldn't think of a better person to sit next to my wife for the past six years.
"You’re a true friend. You're a brother. You're generous to my wife, to my whole family. I got to meet your family. I love your parents, your niece, your sister, your brother-in-law."
One of the last stars to chat with Ryan on his final show on April 14 was the president's wife, Jill Biden.
As the first lady joined on stage, Kelly said: "What a great day to honour Ryan on his last day - to have you here!"
