Wrexham, a third-tier English club co-owned by Reynolds and known for the popular series 'Welcome to Wrexham,' made its debut appearance in Vancouver for this international friendly match.
Despite the game being officially designated as a neutral-site friendly, the stadium was filled with 34,738 enthusiastic fans, many of whom were sporting red and white Wrexham jerseys and scarves. The atmosphere was electric as Sebastian Revan, James McClean, Elliot Lee, and Jordan Davies found the back of the net for Wrexham, while Giuseppe Bovalina managed to score a consolation goal for Vancouver.
