Ryan Reynolds unfollows pal Taylor Swift’s ex Joe Alwyn on Instagram after dinner with newly single star

Taylor Swift was pictured having dinner with pals Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively on Wednesday in the wake of her split from British actor Joe Alwyn.

Hours after their outing, it was spotted that the Deadpool actor unfollowed Alwyn, while his wife and actress Blake Lively never followed the Conversation With Friends star.

After news of Swift and Alwyn’s split, many of the hitmaker’s close friends unfollowed the 32-year-old, including the members of Haim and Swift’s brother Austin.

Others who have reportedly unfollowed the Catherine Called Birdy star include model Lily Aldridge and Lana Del Rey while Swift has already unfollowed him.

Earlier this month, reports emerged that the singer, 33, and Alwyn called time on their six-year relationship.

It was first reported that the pair broke up several weeks ago after eagle-eyed fans noticed that Alwyn had not been seen at any of her Eras Tour shows since it began on March 18.

A source told website Entertainment Tonight that the split was amicable and “not dramatic”, adding the relationship had “just run its course”.

Music superstar Swift is believed to have met Joe in 2016 at the Met Gala in New York, and they started dating that October.

Meanwhile, Swift broke her silence for the first time since ‘splitting’ from Alwyn to thank her fans for their support on social media.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 33-year-old thanked her loyal fanbase, who attended her three Tampa, Florida shows, in her first post since the reports emerged.

The Grammy winner penned alongside several photos from her on stage: “Still buzzing from those 3 shows in Tampa!!!

“Thank you to the unforgettably epic crowds and to @aarondessner for coming out to play twice with me, we’ve been dreaming about that for so long!!

“So grateful for the memories we’re making on this tour.”

The pop superstar received more than 5.1 million likes for her social media update. However, it should be noted that Swift has long had comments on her posts disabled.

Explaining her decision to remove the feature in 2019, Swift previously wrote in a personal essay for ELLE marking her 30th birthday that she had “learned to block some of the noise” by changing the way she uses social media, including turning off comments.
