Reynolds, who has been married to Lively since 2012 and shares four children with her, expressed his gratitude for his wife's recommendation, stating that Reid became an irreplaceable part of their Deadpool editing team.
Reid reciprocated the appreciation, acknowledging the generosity and creativity of both Reynolds and Lively as his creative partners. The trio's collaboration began when Lively directed a music video for Taylor Swift in 2021, which led to Reid joining the crew of Reynolds' superhero film.
