Ryan Porteous' Aberdeen vs Hibs red card appealed as fast-track tribunal set

Aberdeen Hibs Ross McCrorie Shaun Maloney Hearts

Hibs have launched an appeal against Ryan Porteous ' red card at Aberdeen on Saturday.

The centre back was sent off for a tackle from behind on Ross McCrorie, who was about to pull the trigger in front of goal.

Hibees boss Shaun Maloney felt after the game that it was the wrong decision, claiming that the 22-year-old tried to play the ball and that a yellow card would have sufficed.
