The Seahawks are back at the VMAC today to clean out the locker room at the end of their season. For some pros the grind never stops, though.
According to safety Ryan Neal, quarterback Geno Smith was already in the weight room this morning following Saturday’s playoff loss to the 49ers. He also shared some colorful language about this team’s attitude heading into ths offseason.
Ryan Neal said he and his #Seahawks teammates are already talking about next season. Said when he came in this morning, Geno Smith was in the weight room. "Motherf—ers are hungry." pic.twitter.com/FeYgoo7DCZ

Neal is a restricted free agent so he will likely be returning, especially following a career-best 2022 season. In the end, Neal was the only Seattle player to be named to the Pro Football Focus All-Pro team.
As for Geno Smith, his status is less certain. However, NFL Network reported on Saturday that he will be returning to Seattle next season. We trust that’s the case, but the real question is whether or not the Seahawks feel compelled to pick a rookie quarterback in the draft.
