Ryan Mason has received positive news on the injury that forced Clement Lenglet off down the tunnel at the weekend, football.london understands.
The 27-year-old was forced off with two minutes of normal time remaining against Crystal Palace after injuring his shoulder while on the ground trying to prevent Wilfried Zaha from getting past him. Lenglet received a yellow card and had to leave the pitch with his injured arm down by his side and he was taken straight down the tunnel by the medical staff.
Lenglet had replaced Eric Dier in the starting line-up and the Frenchman, on loan from Barcelona, had impressed in keeping out Palace before Dier needed to come on for him in the closing moments.

After the game Mason had said on Lenglet: "He had a shoulder problem, you could probably see. Hopefully nothing too serious, too bad.
"He got treatment on the pitch, it was late on in the game, it was a set piece and we didn't really want to lose a central defender to defend a set piece so we made that change."
football.london understands that acting head coach Mason has since received positive news on Lenglet's shoulder muscle injury and the centre-back is expected to be in contention to be selected for Saturday's trip to Aston Villa. If Spurs can overcome Unai Emery's side then they will be all but assured of some form of European football next season.
Mason had Emerson Royal back on Saturday as the Brazilian started and played 95 minutes following his return from knee surgery, while Yves Bissouma was also on the bench after recovering following an operation on his ankle three months ago.
Hugo Lloris and Ryan Sessegnon however are set to miss the remainder of the season along with long-term absentee Rodrigo Bentancur.
