Ryan Kent is reportedly set to be reunited with former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.
Reports have emerged claiming Al Ettifaq is close to agreeing a deal for the winger.
Gerrard is looking to strengthen his squad as they look to push up the Saudi Pro League after a tough first half of the campaign.
Kent left Rangers last summer upon the expiry of his contract. He signed for Fenerbahce but has struggled to make the desired impact.
It's claimed that Kent will look to leave the Turkish giants this month, with his preferred destination either a move to the Premier League or a return to Ibrox.
However, Takvim reports that Gerrard is believed to have stolen a march on any potential transfer rivals, with Ettifaq looking to buy Kent permanently this month, rather than just a loan.
With Leonardo Bonucci now in charge, and Turkish Super Lig rules only allowing for 14 foreign players per squad, the 27-year-old is set to be part of the clear-out to make room for others.
Fenerbahce is believed to be open to a loan or permanent transfer.
Ettifaq is reportedly set to pay around £3.4m for Kent. It remains to be seen if Kent will want to go ahead with the move to the Middle East, or if he would rather return to the UK.
Kent has made just 15 appearances this season in all competitions this term.
Gerrard signed Kent for Rangers, initially on loan from Liverpool in 2018, before the deal was made a permanent one in the summer of 2019. He cost a little shy of £7m.
