Ryan Kent has reportedly reached an 'agreement' to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
The Rangers winger is out of contract at Ibrox in a matter of weeks and any hopes if him staying in Glasgow beyond then appear to have completely evaporated. After being on the end of heavy criticism for his non-performance against Celtic in the weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final - in which he was hooked at half-time - a growing section of Gers fans don't appear to be as bothered about the situation as they would have been last season.
The fact that they are losing a player who was once their most sellable asset will still rankle however. The club paid £7million to sign their former loan star from Liverpool on a permanent basis under Steven Gerrard. But Kent has failed to hit the heights he previously has done this season, and has looked like a player who knows his future lies elsewhere.
Now reports in Turkey claim he has agreed terms with Fenerbahce and will put pen to paper on a pre contract with the Istanbul outfit ahead of next season. If so, he won't be the first player to have swapped the Clyde for the Bosphorus. Current teammate Allan McGregor, as well as ex-Light Blues strikers Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller all had short stints in the country with various clubs.
