Ryan Garcia proposes bet with YouTube star KSI after Jake Paul KO prediction

Ryan Garcia has proposed a bet with YouTube star KSI - which also involves Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis.

KSI - real name JJ Olatunji - fought in his latest boxing fight this weekend where he ousted late notice replacement FaZe Temperrr in the first round with a brutal KO. After the final bell, KSI proposed one more outing before chasing his grudge fight with influencer rival Paul in the late stages of 2023.

Several from the traditional world of boxing world had their say including lightweight star Garcia who posted his thoughts on the potential mega-fight. He tweeted: "Jake Paul knocks out KSI. He does for sure. You seen the difference in experience. KSI is strong but just throws haymakers."

KSI quickly hit back, replying: "Tank is going to knock you out. Facts." Garcia then continued the brief spat, adding: "Down to bet that you’d get flatlined by Jake and I’ll beat Tank. Whatever you want to put up. Sadly you’ll never fight him."

Before the British star ended the debate, concluding: "Problem is, your fight [with Gervonta Davis] isn’t likely to even happen in the first place lmao." Davis and Garcia have been on a collision course for several years as they both continue their remarkable rise at world level.

Davis and Garcia are considered by many to be the two most popular and high-profile figures in the division, and a fight has been agreed to take place in April which was announced on their social media accounts. However the potential fight has been thrust into doubt this week, as promoter Oscar De La Hoya claimed they are yet to receive a contract, with a deadline placed on today.

KSI and Paul are taking a similar approach to the pair having had several heated social media feuds, including a public voice exchange over a potential fight this year. KSI previously proposed a winner-takes-all clash against Paul at the end of this year, which his rival gladly accepted but there has yet to be any official movement on negotiations.

In his post-fight speech, KSI stated the end goal is to fight Paul but he would first like to test himself against either Joe Fournier or Tyron Woodley. "I said I wanted a KO, I said I wanted in round one and here we are baby," KSI said. "I want you guys to understand the levels. Look at what Swarmz did to Ryan Taylor.

"I'm on a different level and we're going again! I'm hungry, ladies and gentlemen. Joe Fournier, I want a piece of that! (Tyron) Woodley, I want a piece of that. Slim (Albaher), whoever it is - I'll destroy. I need to be tested. I more tests before I reach the final level... Jake m*********ing Paul."
