Ohio State did its part to set up a titanic matchup with Michigan on Saturday by pulling away from Minnesota in the second half to remain unbeaten at 11-0. You could tell after the game that head coach Ryan Day had a little more focus and edginess to him than normal knowing the focus is on Michigan week.
But first things first, Day met with the media in Columbus to discuss what he saw from his team against the Golden Gophers on Saturday afternoon. He continued to heap praise on the defense and believes his team now has an identity and is ready for next week.
Day also discussed the play of Kyle McCord, said he expects to have almost everyone available for the Michigan game, heaped praise on what running back TreVeyon Henderson means to the team and more.
With it being Michigan week, you can bet we’re going to have a ton of coverage beginning in earnest. Come back every day and check out what we’ve got cookin’ at Buckeyes Wire leading up to the game on Saturday.
