The game of American football is back Ohio State fans — sort of. By back, we mean spring practice officially began on Tuesday over at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. It’s nice to see some activities going on after an epic Rose Bowl again, and to be able to get a sense of what the reworked defense and other personnel changes might look like.
As you would expect, Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day and other coaches met with the media after the first day to provide a status of the team and to field questions from reporters longing to get some answers to where the team is right now. Of course, Day was happy to oblige in the same way that he has always been friendly and accomodating to the media.
If you missed any of what Day, Jim Knowles, and Kevin Wilson had to say, you can catch the entire press conference below thanks to OhioStateBuckeyes.com. Just lanch the below and listen to the three coaches touch on some of the personnel, new coaches, injuries, and more.
Ohio State has just two practices before it takes time off for spring break but things will heat up again on March 22. We’ll have more as news, video, and soundbites trickle out.
