Eamonn Holmes has confirmed that his wife Ruth Langsford was so incensed with Phillip Schofield's behaviour towards her, that she did indeed make an official complaint about him to ITV.
Back in 2019, it was reported that Ruth had been left furious when Phillip interrupted her while she was doing a live link on This Morning to preview what was coming up on Loose Women that day. Footage of the incident has resurfaced and in it, Ruth can be seen slamming her pen down in frustration as Phillip interrupts and cuts her off mid-sentence.
It was rumoured that the exchange and the fact that Ruth made a complaint over that started a behind the scenes 'feud' between the pair, although she was on and to support Phillip just a few months later, when he very publicly came out as gay on This Morning.

The host has been at the centre of huge scandal over the last week, when he firstly left his job as This Morning presenter after 21 years and then released a statement in which he admitted having an affair with a young colleague on the daytime programme.
Former ITV co-star Eamonn has spoken out against Phillip both on Twitter and on GB News, with him branding Phillip a liar and 'delusional' over claims he made that everyone who has criticised him has a 'grudge' and his denial that This Morning was 'toxic.
And Eamonn made his opinions very clear when he sat down for an explosive interview with his GB News colleague Dan Wooton on Monday night. When quizzed by Dan about the rumours of Ruth's complaint against Phillip, Eamonn replied: "That's because he was so rude," with him then adding that neither him or Holly Willoughby make the effort to get to know many crew member's names and that he had been told that many staff preferred Fridays, which he and Ruth used to host.
