Ruth Langsford has gushed over Dame Deborah James' 'incredible spirit' and 'amazing nature' amid her bowel cancer battle.

The Loose Women star sung Deborah's praises during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Monday morning.

Fresh from her appearance at the Royal Ascot last week, Ruth, 62, admitted that she was left feeling inspired after having a long talk with Dame Deborah, 40, at the annual prestigious event.
