Russian surveillance aircraft entered and operated in the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone twice in the last two days, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said.
In a statement, NORAD confirmed that the Russian aircraft confined themselves to the zone in question and “did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace”.
