A Russian soldier admitted to shelling their own country in a false flag operation so they can blame Ukraine for the attack.
A recently released telephone conversation seemingly reveals Russian troops opened fire on their own soil.
The phone call, intercepted by Ukrainian security services, is between a soldier and his wife.
In it he confesses to being a part of a false flag operation, staged to create the pretence of Ukrainian aggression.
He said: “It was we who fired on Klimovo.”
In a tweet, exposing the Russian attack on its own people, Ukraine’s security services said: “ Russia itself fired on the village. Klimovo in the Bryansk region, although she blamed Ukraine for this.

“This is confirmed by recent interceptions of telephone conversations of the occupiers, which are at the disposal of the SBU.”
This means Russian shelled Klimovo and then blamed Kyiv for it, claiming it was Ukrainian helicopters who were responsible for the attack and using that as a pretence to shell Ukraine.
In the phone call, his wife asked “why do that?”
To which he replied: "Yes it is necessary. This is done in order to provoke the type of Ukrainians. And that's why they fall.
"It was the same in the Chechen war. Apartments were blown up in Moscow, like terrorists. In fact, it is the FSB. Just now they (Ukraine - ed.) Could not shoot from such a distance to Klimovo.”
The series of explosions referenced in Moscow killed more than 300 people at the time and were a key factor in triggering the Second Chechen War.
The then prime minister, Vladimir Putin, was lauded for his handling of the crisis and it greatly boosted his popularity to help him win the presidency a few months later.
However, many have suspected since that the bombing was a false flag operation staged by Russia and carried out by FSB to trigger a wave of Putin support
Russia has blocked independent investigations into the bombing at every step.
Also according to Ukraine, the soldier also decided to write a refusal to continue to fight in the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
This comes as this week, the invasion passed its 50th day of conflict since it began on February 24.
Recent weeks have been marked by the Russian retreat from parts of northern Ukraine around the capital of Kyiv.
As Moscow’s forces have pulled back, a number of atrocities have been uncovered.
Most notably, in the town of Bucha, around 300 people were said to have been slaughtered, with some having been shot with their hands tied behind their back.
A video released by Ukrainian troops showed the horrors as they drove through the town, having to drive around the bodies littered across the road.
Russia originally claimed the retreat was to help ongoing peace talks, but has since deployed troops and resources to the east of the country, in preparation for another assault.
