Russian soldier asks widow of victim for forgiveness in Ukraine war crimes trial

A 21-year-old Russian soldier has asked a Ukrainian widow to forgive him for killing her husband, as a court in Kyiv met for a second hearing in the first war crimes trial arising from Russia's February 24 invasion.
