In a shocking turn of events, Russia has promised to retaliate after a Ukrainian shelling attack allegedly claimed the lives of at least 14 people and left more than 100 injured in the city of Belgorod on Russian soil. This attack seems to be a response to a recent massive Russian air assault on Ukraine, which resulted in the deaths of at least 40 individuals. The air assault carried out by Russia marked their largest military operation in almost two years since their invasion of Ukraine began.
Reports indicate that the Russian attack on Ukraine involved the launch of over 158 missiles, out of which 44 managed to penetrate Ukraine's Western-supported air defense systems.
