Russian drone strikes hit Kharkiv, damaging homes and injuring two people

Three strike drones hit Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district early on Tuesday, following an air raid alert from Ukraine’s Air Forces.

The attacks damaged a civilian manufacturing site, several homes and a transport company serving local residents.

City officials said at least two people were injured, and five private houses along with 15 apartment buildings were affected.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov stressed that the strikes targeted a residential area, underlining the ongoing danger to civilians.

Across the wider Kharkiv region, Russian forces have continued missile and drone attacks alongside ground offensives near Pokrovsk and Vovchansk, where fighting remains intense.

Ukrainian units are trying to stabilise the front as Moscow reinforces its push in the east.
