- Following the strikes, Sergei Shoigu, a close aide to Vladimir Putin, warned that no part of Russia is safe from Ukrainian long-range capabilities.
- Shoigu stated that Ukraine's advanced drone development means even the Ural region, over 1,500km from the border, is now considered to be in immediate danger.
- He also claimed that Ukrainian aerial strikes on Russian infrastructure surged nearly fourfold in 2025, with more than 23,000 attacks recorded.
