Russell Wilson’s nightmare 2022 season has picked up in Carolina right where it left off against Las Vegas last week. Today the Broncos are facing the Sam Darnold led Panthers and trail 10-3 at halftime.
Once again, Wilson is struggling. He’s currently 9/13 for just 53 passing yards, no touchdowns, two sacks and a 76.8 passer rating.
Now Wilson is getting the business yet again on the emotionally-destructive blackhole that is Elon Musk’s Twitter. Here are some of the meanest Wilson-related tweets we could find.
Update:
Wilson at least managed to avoid turning the ball over, but the Broncos lost again, 23-10. He posted just 142 passing yards, a 54.3% completion rate, one touchdown and a 73.8 rating.

I've suffered through the entire post-Peyton era, even spending hours of free time studying offenses built around guys like Drew Lock, Case Keenum, and Brandon Allen.
This Russell Wilson offense is killing my interest in Broncos football. 😂

Russell Wilson is dueling Sam Darnold (a player almost unanimously labeled a bust at this point, and someone who won’t be a Week 1 starter next year) and is comfortably the worst QB on the field

Russell Wilson might be the worst. https://t.co/eCSp8OLtOX

I know it’s still early, but that Broncos Russell Wilson contract is looking like the worst in NFL history.

10 pass yards and a fumble for Russell Wilson through nearly 2 quarters today. And Broncos fans thought Drew Lock was the problem… A disaster in Denver.

My son after watching that tipped pass: "Is Russell Wilson even good?"
I don't think I want to admit the truth. 🫤

Amazing how Russell Wilson can look like the old Russell Wilson for the entire 8 seconds he's in the pocket and then he throws a duck four yards short of his intended receiver

Everything is bad on offense, and there’s no getting around it, but you made this MASSIVE Russell Wilson trade + signing thinking that he wouldn’t look like a complete train wreck even under these circumstances. It’s disappointing we’re here.
— Joey Richards (@JRDrafts) November 27, 2022
There's no doubt the Broncos are decimated by injuries and coached by a clown, but anyone who actually watched that first half can't truthfully deny Russell Wilson is a huge part of the problem.
— Joe Rowles (@JoRo_NFL) November 27, 2022
The Denver Broncos suck. Russell Wilson sucks. Whatever happened behind the scenes doesn’t matter to me – I’m just elated that he’s not here.

There are articles in the Geneva Convention outlawing what the Seahawks did to the Broncos in the Russell Wilson trade.

I’ll never give out another Russell Wilson prop bet or anything involving him in ever again. My apologies.
