It’s been an awful season for Russell Wilson, to say the least, and it got worse on Monday with a 19-16 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers (who didn’t look so great themselves either but that’s another story).
But we know that the quarterback likes to end his postgame meetings with reporters with a phrase, whether it was “Go Hawks!” when he was a Seahawk or a “Broncos Country, let’s ride” no matter how awkward it is.
So would he say it after another terrible loss for the Broncos, who had such high expectations heading into this year after the trade for Wilson?
I’m happy to report he didn’t. And that’s the best decision he’s made in 2022:
