Former Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson is now searching for his third team in four seasons. After being cut by the Broncos, Wilson will now be headed into unrestricted free agency for truly the first time in his career.
So far, Wilson has kept busy. Wilson already had a meeting with the Steelers, which reportedly went well. However, the Steelers may not be the only ones interested in kicking the tires on Wilson, as the New York Giants are in the mix as well.

Of course, the quarterback-needy Las Vegas Raiders are doing their homework on their former division rival as well.
Steelers and Giants either have met or are meeting with Russell Wilson. There are expected to be more, including possibly the Raiders, per sources. https://t.co/i9TWkVmFHp

Russell Wilson is not the player he once was. His stat line of 26 touchdowns to only eight interceptions last year was ultimately a bit misleading. But he is still capable of playing in this league, especially when considering the play of Kenny Pickett and Daniel Jones.
ESPN’s Tim Hasselbeck suggested a possibility where Wilson is out of football entirely for the 2024 season. While it is a long way to go until kickoff in September, this early activity is making Hasselbeck’s longshot prediction seem even more unlikely.
