Russell T Davies and Pet Shop Boys collaborate on new Channel 4’s It’s A Sin production

• Russell T Davies and Pet Shop Boys are collaborating to adapt the hit Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin into an immersive dance production.
• The award-winning TV series, created by Davies, depicted the UK’s HIV/Aids crisis during the 1980s and early 1990s.
• Production companies Rambert and Factory International are behind the theatrical performance, which will combine contemporary dance and cinematic visuals.
• Pet Shop Boys members Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe expressed pride in their song, which shares its name with the show, being reinterpreted in a new medium.
• The stage show, featuring music by Roman GianArthur and choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffer, is set to premiere at Aviva Studios in Manchester.
