Russell Martin says initial discussions over contracts and transfers this summer have already been held but admits the club are unlikely to appoint a new number two before the end of the season.
Luke Williams recently left his post as Martin's assistant last month due to personal reasons on the eve of their 4-0 hammering at Sheffield United.
Matthew Gill is currently filling in on an interim basis, but it remains to be seen who will take on the role long term.
