Russell Brand is being sued for alleged sexual abuse in the first lawsuit to be brought after he was accused of misconduct at the height of his TV and movie fame.

The former comedian and actor, 49, faced public allegations in 2023 of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse when he was one of Britain’s best known TV presenters and had launched a Hollywood film career.
