Rush hour delays as busy road is blocked following crash

Drivers are being warned to expect delays on a busy road heading into Manchester following a crash. Officers have been called out to Ashton Old Road, near the border of Openshaw and Audenshaw, following a collision this morning (June 7).

Greater Manchester Police says the incident involves two vehicles. No serious injuries have been reported by the force.

The road has been blocked off on the westbound carriageway since around 8.30am, between Rosina Street and Gransmoor Road. There is queueing traffic in the area, according to Inrix.
